Westminster Community Charter School
In 1993, M &T Bank chose to partner with Buffalo Public School 68, one of the lowest-performing schools in Buffalo, in an effort to provide the best school experience possible for its students. Renamed Westminster Community Charter School in 1995, the school has since transformed into one of the city's top rated educational institutions. Westminster has also undergone a noticeable physical transformation; renovations to the building include the creation of more academic space, as well as the addition of a new school library.
With the school in need of a website that reflected their mission, we delivered a custom design which emphasizes Westminster's vision that "all students will graduate with the necessary foundation to be successful in high school and/or higher educational institutions and to become productive and contributing citizens in our society and community."
By building their site with Homeroom, Westminster has the ability to create, edit, and update an unlimited number of content pages from any computer with internet access at any time.
Westminster Community Charter School's website is powered by the Fission Web System, which contains built-in search engine optimization tools that have the potential to increase search engine ranking and improve visibility online. The site also utilizes advanced analytics to provide executive reporting regarding the site's traffic and search engine ranking.
